SOUPER SUNDAY RETURNS!
Start 2024 by making it a "Souper" Year!

You can directly help those currently experiencing homelessness in the Orlando area by collecting nonperishable food items, canned goods and men's clothing – particularly men's shoes, new socks & underwear, pants & jeans in good condition. 

​

Our food pantry serves an important purpose. It draws desperate people to our campus where we do the hard work of nurturing a relationship with them, where they will hopefully open up to a case manager who wants to get them healthy, hired, and housed.

​

Finish your collection of food, shoes and clothing by Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, the day of pro football's biggest game. Souper Sunday is a fun way to start off the new year while helping the less fortunate! 

Get your church, your coworkers, and friends into the game against homelessness and hunger. Collect Soup and Men's Clothing & Shoes January 2 - February 11.

SHORT ON TIME TO SHOP?

 

We can do the shopping for you. We purchase food at reduced prices through partners like Second Harvest Food Bank. For every $1 received, we can purchase 2 cans of soup.

LET US KNOW YOU'RE PARTICIPATING!

  1. Fill out the short Registration form below so we know you’re participating. 
     

  2. Ask your church members, coworkers and friends to bring in a can of soup, nonperishable food item, or an article of men's clothing (in good condition) to a designated collection site of your choice on or before Sunday, February 11.
     

  3. On Monday, Feb. 12 (or week of), deliver your collected items to one of the Christian Service Center’s three locations, or call us to schedule a pick up (with over 300 items).

2024 Biggest Needs List:

  • Canned Proteins & Pasta (pop-top preferred; Hearty Soups, Vienna Sausage)

  • Individually-wrapped Snacks (Granola Bars, Boxed Crackers)

  • Peanut Butter (small and large) 

  • Jelly (small and large)

  • Fruit cups

  • Blue Jeans (smaller sizes needed, 34 & below)

  • Men's White Dress Shirts

  • Men's Black Slacks

  • Men's Belts

  • Men's Black Non-Slip Shoes (Work shoes)

  • Men's Socks & Underwear (Must be New; All sizes)

  • Check back here after Christmas, where we’ll post downloadable PDF of Souper Sunday flyer that you can print and post around your church or office.

  • Let us know when you sign up if you need us to provide you printed copies.
